If you're seeing this error:

Wordfence could not start a scan because the cron key does not match the saved key

it's a relatively simple fix. Scroll to the bottom of your Wordfence Diagnostics page.

Check the box that is labeled "Disable config caching".

Hit Save.

Now try a scan. The above error should not appear again.

If it does, and you are using any object or database caching (check your plugins), you may need to flush the cache before scanning.
